Yuki Matsuno is a mediator, facilitator and lawyer based in Vancouver, BC.                                                                                2015.01.02

Yuki earned a BA (Honours) and a law degree from the University of British Columbia. She then practiced labour law for seven years; during that time, she earned a Certificate in Conflict Resolution from the Justice Institute of BC.

Yuki started her mediation practice in 2004. As a Provincial Court mediator and a private mediator, she assists in the resolution of various civil matters. Yuki also facilitates work teams to help improve relationships and communication. She mediates with families and helps them through the process of family reorganization after separation or divorce. Yuki brings empathy and engagement to her mediation work and excels at putting people at ease as they work through a dispute.

Yuki trains and coaches in a variety of subject areas, including mediation, communication skills, and cross-cultural issues. In 2012 Yuki held an appointment as an Adjunct Professor at the UBC Faculty of Law and thoroughly enjoyed teaching mediation to law students.

Yuki is a member of the Law Society of British Columbia and the Canadian Bar Association, BC Branch, as well as the Civil, Family, and Child Protection Rosters of Mediate BC. She is an accredited Family Law Mediator with the Law Society.
